time passages
this week has passed so fast, in fact the whole year it seemed has breezed through
a little voice inside reminds me that this past summer i was banging my head against the wall and being blue
i could not bear the feeling of being alone and wondered if the summer would every end
so how could i now say that the days are passing by fast
in any case, as the sun sets over the karachi skyline i feel like the all the creative juices have been sucked out
its been ages that i listened to pink floyd, the fleeting hours of the day this emptiness makes it all the more appropriate that i reminisce the sheer bliss of listening to 'the dark side of the moon' sink to a deep sleep to the sound of david gilmour
"the sun is the same in the relative way, but you're older
shorter of breath and one day closer to death
every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
the time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd someone more to say."
maybe its true that everything is eclipsed by the moon, the lunacy and madness
its dark already, time to pack up and go home

It's always get back to Pink Floyd and that album, Dark Side Of The Moon as well as The Wall, aren't they simply gems? Your friend, Zulfiqar has few pages dedicated to PF too, which is incredible. In recent times, I have found Evanescence to be good enough - dark, grim and painful and yet enchanting. The girl's voice is so young and yet so powerful, it's incredible. I first found her at Resident Evil's soundtrack "Bring to life". Linkin Park is another not-bad act at Rock Scene. Though, I am seriously thinking to start collecting as much Instrumentals of the world as I can. Just getting comfortable with some decent app. to manage the whole damn music library. Even Media Player10 doesn't seem to fulfill all of my needs, but it sure is kick ass. Do check it out.
hi ejaz, see my comments on the blog that i have posted, thanks for your continued feedback, you are getting me started on PF and i am falling into a time warp which you can experience on the blog
Reminded me of 1978 - Al Stewart and Jerry Rafferty at the top of the charts. Time warp for sure.
