leaves of grass

a wild one Posted by Hello

i took this photograph during my first camping trip earlier this year...the spot was the hub river in baluchistan not far from karachi ...this flower bloomed amid the stones of the concrete embankment and this flower....in the most unfriendly environment had to be captured on film....

you are most welcome, jassim..junoon is ok but make a cliche of sufi music....a bit of disservice to a long tradition of sufi music this side of the border...call is bastardization or commercialization of an artform...this is what they have achieved and i am glad people have not followed them except the groupie culture which is never long lasting....if you are interested in pakistani music...then give some other bands a chance...you will find plenty of ideas in my blogs....good to have you....regards Naveed

you already know what i feel about junoon....but i do not wish to impose my opinion on someone whose knowledge of pakistani sufi music is restricted to junoon...atleast at the moment.....i can guide them but i do not wish to coach them....the high point of pakistani popular sufi music with modern instrumentation that we will have come to love and recommend is MHB and the moment someone says to me that "aj aakhan varis shah noon" (featured on sampooran)....is the ultimate peace gospel for south asia, i will think that my effort has been worthwhile......
