back in the highlife (again)
the first day back in soulless city the emails reveal that there is a 8am presentation and i feel like kicking the boss where it hurts the most...come on...this is impossible...how can we have a planning session when the quarter is not even closed..."how can you work in these conditions" (a line from the Trueman Show)
but the boss is so much fun he is a person with the best attitude one could ask for...i really ought to be thankful for his being a friend more than a boss
i hate myself for not calling a friend from school who was in town from the US...well actually that makes two, the number of people i was unable to call...but atleast the latter had fun in karachi so that i all i could have hoped for..

my job has taken me to singapore but good part of the month is actually spent with family in karachi
zag, it was'nt south indian porn...have you even watched the indian movies these days...i thought bollywood movies were bad (indecent exposure etc.)...the southern movies are even more interesting...the guy in dhoti and the gal writhing all over him and his pot belly.. what i was describing was a novel concept of the director who took the proverbial shower scene out of the washroom and installed the shower dead centre of the bed room.... i guess i have failed to highlight the irony in my message...something for which i have taken flak already not only from you :)... singapore is like second home since my job is here and i could not be happier as every month i am in karachi...so after 9 to 9 madness in singapore, i get a dose of insanity in karachi... i love both these cities...singapore is quaint sombre sober sedate and karachi is home cuz that is where the heart is..
so imagine if you get home and the only thing on is a south indian guy and his gal who cannot get enough of his pot belly....yes that is a definite eeewwww :)
am glad to read your 20-20 updates...these fuckers have no channels that shows cricket matches...some desis paid $100 for the entire series as pay per view...(indo-pak series)...although in the end...it must have been monies well spent
i think i will keep some distance bellies....reminds me of that irritating jelly belly ad they run on pak cable channels...
My boss is more of a friend too....but there are times that can be problematic too.....atleast where I am concerned!
