tsunami blues

walking along the beachfront shops in phuket is an experience i have always cherished and this strip of the beach has been hit badly by the tidal waves....the thai people are a very kind and humble group of people....though phuket caters more to the western traveller i found that it holds you captivated with a sort of magic that takes people back to thailand and especially to phuket....i would not be surprised if people stop going there anymore after the recent havoc wrecked by the tsunamis but given the opportunity i sure will...if not for sightseeing then to relive the memories and pay my respects to this great city.....and i am hoping that a typical westerner would too....
